ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Dear parents!

The new academic year is coming and Miras International school of Nur-Sultan is opening its doors for duty grades of the Primary school.

During summer period to ensure a safe academic environment the school has taken a range of measures focused on preventing the spread of coronavirus infection and has organized all necessary conditions for a safe learning environment as follows:

•disinfection mats have been installed at the main entrances;

•thermal imagers are installed, and additional non-contact thermometers have been purchased for temperature checks of students;

•sanitizers for hand treatment have been installed in all classrooms and school corridors;

•under supervision of teachers, students will wash their hands regularly throughout the day;

•special signs have been placed around the school to ensure social distancing;

•individual schedules for each grade level specifying time of beginning and ending of lessons have been created;

•classrooms are assigned for each grade;

•desks have been rearranged to keep the distance between students of not less than 1 metre;

•the number of students in one class is restricted (not more than 15 persons);

•all rooms will be ventilated during the day;

•there will be wet cleaning with appliance of disinfection agents in classes and other rooms and areas of the school after every two lessons;

•uv sanitization lamps will be used according to a special schedule;

•control of health of students and school staff will be monitored closely by the medical staff;

•isolation rooms have been assigned if a student displays any symptoms of an illness;

•the center for harmonious development will provide activities for small groups (up to 5 students) and individual students;

•speech therapy lessons will be organized for children (individual or in groups up to 5 students);

•the school has developed rules and procedures for parents and staff focused on the provision of a safe school environment.
