Miras International School, Nur-Sultan is the first school of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) since 2004. Every 5 years the school has to pass reaccreditation in order to reaffirm its commitment.
Sunday, October 31 to Friday, November 5, Miras International School will be undergoing a full CIS Accreditation visit by a team of the qualified international teachers, in online format due to the pandemic restrictions.
The CIS team will meet with groups of teachers, students, parents, and support staff to inquire into all aspects of the operation of the school with a special emphasis on the quality of learning and teaching, which takes place at the school.
In addition to the group meetings, there will be live stream sessions of lessons as well as break and lunchtimes, students’ arrival to and departure from the school.
The results of accreditation will be placed on the school website and Instagram.
